1:2:1 Canicross

Service Description

If you want to have a go at canicross or want to train with us 1:1 or maybe you need help troubleshooting your dog's behaviour in canicross, then this option is for you. Options include: 1:2:1 INTRO TO CANICROSS - for complete beginners wanting to try canicross. The session includes kit fitting (for you and your dog), advice on how to start canicross training on your own including choosing a training area and how to progress increasing the distance, and a skill session to see how to train your dog one skill at a time. + BEGINNER'S COURSE - for complete beginners wanting to try canicross and continue to train in their own time, at home and surrounding areas. The course includes everything in 1:2:1 Intro to Canicross + online guidance and coaching to train all the foundational skills in canicross (The Concept of Running a Course, Start, Stop, Directions and Passing Distractions) + CONDITIONING PLAN - for complete beginners. The course includes everything in 1:2:1 Intro to Canicross + Beginner's Course and a Conditioning Plan based on your goals. This could be Couch 2 5K, 5k race, 10k race etc. 1:2:1 for 2 Handlers - for 2x complete beginners or not. This option is the same as 1:2:1 Intro to Canicross for 2 handlers and their dogs. 1:2:1 Skill Training - this option is for experienced canicrossers who want to train their dog advanced skills, like overtaking, speed changes, changing from front to side, race like experience but less stimulating than a race etc., or who need help in retraining their dog correct canicross skills (poor behaviours picked up from social runs for example). 1:2:1 WITH OUR DOGS - this option is for those who want to try a fully trained racing hound.
