Service Description
If you want to have a go at canicross or want to train with us 1:1 or maybe you need help troubleshooting your dog's behaviour in canicross, then this option is for you. Options include: 1:2:1 IN PERSON or ONLINE - at one of our locations in or around Nottingham. This option is for complete beginners wanting to try canicross. The In Person session includes kit fitting (for you and your dog). In Person & Online sessions include advice on how to start canicross training on your own including choosing a training area, how to start and how to progress increasing distance. Or if you have tried canicross and you need help to troubleshoot your dog's behaviour, or want to learn a new SKILL. + BEGINNER'S COURSE - in person or online This option is for complete beginners wanting to try canicross and continue to train in their own time, at home and surrounding areas. The course includes everything in 1:2:1 IN PERSON / ONLINE + online guidance and coaching to train all the foundational skills in canicross (The Concept of Running a Course, Start, Stop, Line-Out, Directions and Passing Distractions) The In Person option includes 6x online meetings in addition to the first 1:2:1 in person. The Online option includes 6x online meetings (in addition to the first one) to discuss steps, get feedback and plan next steps. Juniors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. *Each booking includes a link to an online meeting. More meetings will be scheduled as training progresses. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations less than 48 hours before the session are not refundable. If you need to re-arrange the session please contact us as soon as possible. Dogs training for canicross must be 12 months of age on the day of the first session. Dogs training for canicross must have all vaccinations up to date and have had worming and flea/tick treatment. Dogs training for canicross must be able to behave in public spaces, around other dogs, humans and wildlife. Dogs training for canicross must be in good health condition. Dogs training for canicross will not be allowed off lead at any time. The skills to be progressed during the training session will depend on the dog's progress.
