Canicross TASTER SESSION

Service Description

Come along and give CANICROSS a go! See if you and your dog like this dog powered sport :) The session includes: * canicross kit fitting - as we have a wide range of harnesses, lines and belts to try * a chat about the foundational behaviours and skills in the sport of canicross * a chat about how dogs learn and what can motivate them to pull in harness * the principles of warm up and cool down and the importance these have on a focused-on-the-job dog * have a go around a short course a few times practicing some basic but very important skills * a chat with you about your dog's ultimate reinforcer and how to use it in canicross training * demonstrations from experienced teams including my juniors and you can ask them anything canicross training/racing related * a chat about progression to certain distances, racing and progression to wheels * you can ask questions about training, racing, conditioning, feeding for training and racing and anything else you can think of related to dog powered sports * you can have a go running with one of our fully trained dogs ATTENDANCE TO ONE SESSION GIVES YOU A £25 DISCOUNT FOR THE BEGINNERS' CANICROSS CLASS! This will be a discount code provided during the session. Dogs must be at least 11 months old on the day of the session.
